Random Feed wrote an interesting post today on Here’s a quick excerpt For those who are still revved up from last week’s geeky “Star Wars: In Concert” symphony, consider this: “Play! A Video Game Symphony” will be performed on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Abravanel Hall, with music from “Halo,” “Super Mario Brothers,” “Zelda” and “World of Warcraft.” It will be one night only. Call 801-355-ARTS for tickets, and support the Utah Symphony! Ticket prices go up $5 the day of the show, so support your pocketbook, too! And I mean no disrespect when I call

Video game company Bioware opened up beta tester applications for their upcoming online role-playing game, “Star Wars: The Old Republic.” Gamers promptly hammered the page with requests causing Bioware to pull it down . Currently, it reads “We are making adjustments to the site due to the overwhe

Random Feed wrote an interesting post today on Here’s a quick excerpt Nowadays, it seems like MMORPG titles are a dime a dozen with new ones coming out each week, but only a few ever capture the public’s eye to the point of being hugely successful. One MMORPG title that is looking to have a huge following of World of Warcraft like numbers, would be Star Wars: The Old Republic. This morning, the beta signups went live for Star Wars: The Old Republic, which then prompted a flood of submittals to the site. Of course, the demand outstripped the resources and the s
